Active sensor wireless operating system for fire protection and monitoring in wood and forest areas.
Every year 45.000 forest fires burn out in Europe. Between 1989 and 1993 2.6 million hectares of woodland were destroyed by fire in the Mediterranean area; STE, in cooperation with Politecnico di Milano - Technology Transfer Office, has developed new Patented RF application to provide activity of Dynamic Fire Monitoring Detection by means of SRD Low cost.
